The guest speaker for this luncheon was Andrew J. Pincus, senior partner at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP. Mr. Pincus -- who is the former General Counsel of the United States Department of Commerce and is currently an adjunct professor at Yale Law School -- specializes in briefing and arguing cases in the Supreme Court of the United States and advising corporations on legislative and regulatory matters. He reviewed significant legislative initiatives and cases in the Supreme Court that will impact the securities industry.
